This property was in tired condition with some significant cracks in the plaster cladding of the house and the texture on the fences was in quite poor condition.
A number of plaster repairs and retexturing was required, especially on the fences. The aluminium joinery was also quite faded but unfortunately had a lot of paint spatter from a previous paint job. We cleaned up the paint spatter on the windows before doing any painting. The windows were then masked out, as usual, and when the painting was finished a UV glaze called Everbrite was applied to the aluminium window and door joinery. This not only protects the joinery from UV damage going forward but also revitalises the joinery so the colour is closer to the original colour. The owner was also looking to modernise the scheme but was restricted by the roof colour and the joinery colour. A Resene colour consultation helped the owner find the perfect colour for the walls which tied everything together and created a modern look.
